Workflows can ask a question after saving

A workflow can now show a Button popup to the person saving a record, so instead of an action always running, the user can be asked a quick question first (for example, "Do you want to send a welcome mail?"). How to use it: - Open the workflow and add the task Ask user (show button popup). - Pick the Button whose popup should be shown. Its fields, texts and required fields work exactly as configured on the Button. - Set the workflow's usual conditions (for example, only on the first save, or when a field changes) to decide when the question appears. When a matching record is saved, the user sees the Button's popup. OK runs the Button exactly as a manual click would, including any linked workflows. Cancel does nothing. What to know: only the person saving the record is asked, never an assigned user, and only for saves made directly in the screens — imports, API saves and mass edits never show a popup. Up to three questions can appear after one save. Released in version 4.02.328 on 20 October 2026.
